We are based in leafy Winchmore hill, north London – a stone throw away from the station and we are a shop with a difference. We specialise in selling one off genuine vintage and antique pieces for the home from all eras and trail flea markets, antique fairs, junk shops – you name it. Each find is selected with loving care and we only sell items that are in good second hand condition. We are passionate about recycling and re using things for the home and want to show people that you can mix old and new together. This makes your home fun, different and gives it a sense of style that is yours. Now we have thrown contemporary art into the mix and what a better way to show old and new! Adorning the walls for all to see is the likes of established artists Terry pastor, Yuki Aruga, David hicks and a few more….. What else could any interior need?!
Barker & May was born in 2010 by husband and wife (tag team!) Andrea & Simon. Buying pre-owned pieces means that waste is greatly reduced which helps the environment and that’s what we like, but more importantly, pieces get re-treasured again….
